Jessica Simpson is no stranger to the front row, but to show her own collection during New York Fashion Week, the blonde bombshell is saying “no” to the runway and to professional models! Instead, Jessica plans to host a private presentation to preview her spring 2011 apparel and accessories collection, and showcase her new denim line using 8 of her best friends as models.
Enlisting the likes of sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and close friend Cacee Cobb, Jessica will dress her nearest and dearest in her debut denim line as well as jewelry and apparel from her fall/holiday collection. The models will mingle with fashion editors and guests while brother-in-law Pete Wentz spins tunes.

With a singer for a mother and a rock star father it is unsurprising that little Bronx Mowgli Wentz is already becoming a little rocker. He showed off his rock star tastes in a Sex Pistols T-shirt yesterday. Of course, at just 20-months-old, the outfit was probably chosen by his parents, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz. Ashlee, 25, and Pete, 31, grinned as their son entertained them at a friends house near to their own home.

Acording to our friend site AshleeNSimpson.com, Ashlee has just registered two new songs named “Backstreet Driver” and “Ain’t Sayin Nuthin” – The registration doesn’t mean they are going to be included on the new album or that they are going to be released as singles, but theres always a posibility since they now oficially exist. Plus, it seems that John Shanks, the man behind “I Am Me” and “Autobiography” will be working with Ashlee in her 4th album – That information comes to life from a twit Ashlee posted saying to the producer that she’ll go to the studio to see him. Are you excited?
Update: Kate, an Ashlee-Star.com visitor has just refresh our memory saying that last May 11, 2008 when Ashlee was doing some “Bittersweet World” promo in the UK, Ashlee revealed in the “Nokia Green Room” show that the first song she ever wrote with her music pal Ray (her guitarist) was a song named “Backstreet Driver” – Checking out the registration info, we can CONFIRM that it’s the same song she talked about, since the two of them (Ray and Ashlee) are registrated as the writters. Maybe she’s working with her old material : ) – I let you guys the registration info here:

Ashlee was photographed taking son Bronx Mowgli Wentz for a stroll in NYC this week. The younger Simpson sister looked ultra-trendy in a pair of casually-cuffed Daisy Dukes, a loose-fitting gray cotton tee, a heavy black cap and a Chanel leather purse.
