New Candids: Shopping at American Vintage in L.A.

Ashlee was one of many celebs to do some very-last-minute Christmas shopping this year, and she did so in style, showing off her sleek pixie cut.

Ashlee roamed Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles looking for gifts while rocking a gorgeous looking short ‘do, following the trend of pixie madness these days. Continuing the sleek look, she sported a black top and black jacket along with some Taylor Momsen-esque black eye makeup.

Charlotte Ronson Dinner @ Eveleigh in West Hollywood – December 14, 2010

Ashlee Simpson is stepping out more and more these days.

Joined by hubby Pete Wentz and pal Nicky Hilton, the former singer/actress was out yet again on Tuesday night (December 14) as she attended a dinner for designer Charlotte Ronson at Eveleigh in West Hollywood.

Meanwhile, with Christmas being just days away, what does Ashlee have planned? “For my husband and I, it’s nice to start those traditions now,” she says. “What we’re doing with the tree, what we did over Thanksgiving… we actually had an amazing Thanksgiving with Peter’s family.”

As for what she plans to buy for her two-year-old son Bronx Mowgli? “He just had his birthday, and he got a lot of gifts,” says Ashlee. “He’ll still have a great Christmas, and he’s really into Thomas the Train, but we have enough Thomas, so we do not need that this year!”.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz broke out the ugly Christmas sweater, swept their hair back into the mullet of yore and shook their holiday printed pijama pants down to Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, CA today (December 11).

Joined by their son Bronx Mowgli, the former celeb couple was all smiles as they pose for a family portrait onboard the Old Navy Awkward Holiday Photo Mobile.

Ashlee Pressuring Jessica To Have Kids

Ashlee Simpson wants her big sister to have some babies because she would make a “wonderful mother”.

In a recent interview, Ashlee told People Magazine, “She (Jessica) is genuinely very, very happy, and you go to their house and it’s warm and cozy, and it’s a good feeling. He’s just a good guy”. Ashlee went on to say, “Jessica is a wonderful godmother and aunt”, adding, “I know she would be a wonderful mother”. When asked whether she’d like to see Jessica and Eric try for a baby, she said, “Do I want them to have kids? Of course it would be wonderful if it happened”.
